full spectrum infrared sauna

A full-spectrum experience

Our full spectrum infrared therapy sauna uses radiant sun-like warmth to aid in weight loss, pain management, skin purification, detoxification, and stress reduction. While it is not curing any disease or condition, the full-spectrum sauna can provide relief from the aches of arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and certain skin conditions. Solocarbon® infrared therapy from our Sunlighten™ 3-in-1 sauna surrounds the body and penetrates deeply into joints, muscles, and tissues, speeding oxygen flow and increasing circulation using a combination of near, mid, and far infrared wavelengths.

Fun Infrared Fact:

While everyone is different, it’s quite common to need several sessions in short succession when using infrared saunas. You may not sweat a lot your first 2-3 sauna sessions and this is normal for many people! The more regularly you use an infrared sauna, the more quickly you will begin to sweat. Over time you may even begin to sweat at lower temperatures. Sweating also depends on hydration levels and your toxic load.

Flow Motion Sauna Tips:

  • For the best experience, we recommend arriving 20 minutes early, especially if it is cold outside, to acclimate your skin temperature in our Relaxation Lounge with a cup of hot tea before your session. We pre-heat the sauna before your visit so it’s nice and toasty, but arriving cold and just on time could take upwards of 20 minutes to warm up (half or nearly all of your session) without much time left to sweat.

  • Ensure you are hydrated. You may not sweat as much if you are not properly hydrated.

  • Refrain from eating a meal 1-2 hours before your session.

  • We recommend a slow cool-down after your session by simply towel drying to let your body continue the sauna’s work. Shower at home after your body temperature has slowly returned to normal.

  • Want max warmth? Sit on the left side where there are more heaters. Want a little less? Sit on the right side by the door or pop the door open to use the fan for a blast of air.

  • Freshen up and cool down with a spritz of complimentary peppermint mist after your sauna session.

Burn Calories in a Sunlighten™ Sauna Session

Studies have shown a 30 minute far infrared therapy room session can burn up to 200-600 calories a session. As the body works to cool itself while using a far infrared therapy sauna, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate.

Detox at a cellular level

Detoxify the body from heavy metals including mercury, lead, cadmium and aluminum. Detox arsenic, formaldehyde and industrial chemicals. Sunlighten™ Solocarbon® heaters help to purify cells, where our body stores waste and harmful toxins, such as cholesterol and heavy metals.

Infrared light is part of the sun’s invisible spectrum. One of far infrared light’s characteristics is the ability to easily penetrate human tissue. When this happens, it creates a natural resonance, which has many beneficial properties. Remember the last time you were sunbathing with sunscreen? Were you still hot? Of course you were because the sunscreen only stops the UV (Ultraviolet) light from hitting your skin. The far infrared heat (far infrared light waves) penetrates your skin, giving you that wonderful natural warmth.

Far infrared heat is healthy and safe

You can be exposed to far infrared heat for hours and it will never cause your skin to sunburn. Far infrared heat is completely healthy and safe. In fact, it is so safe it is used in hospitals to warm newborn infants. And because of the lower humidity compared to a traditional sauna, it’s much easier to breathe in.

Sweating is the body’s safe and natural way to heal, stay healthy and detox. Sweat carries toxins out of the body and pushes it through the pores. Detoxification from an Infrared therapy sauna is 7 to 10 times greater than a conventional sauna. The average person sweats out 20% toxins and 80% water! In a conventional sauna the average person sweats out 3% toxins and 97% water.

Six Different Programs to Choose From at Each Visit:

The mPulse full spectrum sauna has a computer with six preset programs you may choose from based on your needs. Each program is designed to emit the optimal blend of infrared wavelengths, based on 56 clinical studies, to achieve the desired result.

It is important to note, the heater programs and studies they are based on, are set using infrared wavelengths – not cabin temperature. Each program will take you through a variety of heater intensities and cabin temperatures. Do not be alarmed by any unexpected temperature changes. The efficacy of the program derives from the surface temperatures of the individual heaters, not the air temperature.

  • 37 Minute Program
  • Mid and Far Infrared

Starts at a high intensity to increase the body’s core temperature, then reduces to a low, comfortable intensity level. The infrared combination improves vascular access flow to reach toxins at the cellular level.

Anti-Aging Skin Health

  • 30 Minute Program
  • Near and Far Infrared

A low, constant intensity level penetrates tissues to help with various skin concerns. Near infrared LED’s improve overall skin tone, elasticity, and firmness promoting anti-aging benefits.

  • 40 Minute Program
  • Near and Far Infrared

Far infrared induces deep relaxation as it relieves muscle tension at a low, comfortable intensity promoting overall stress reduction with regular use.

Pain Relief

  • 30 Minute Program
  • Near, Mid, and Far Infrared

An infrared blend provides natural pain relief by reducing inflammation and swelling while near infrared LED’s penetrate the tissue to promote cellular repair at a medium, constant intensity level.

Weight Loss

  • 30 Minute Program
  • Mid and Far Infrared

Starts at a high intensity to stimulate the cardiovascular system then reduces to a medium level. As the body works to cool itself, there is an increase in heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate similar to exercise.

  • 45 Minute Program
  • Near, Mid, and Far Infrared

Starts at a high intensity to increase heart rate and cardiac output, then lowers to sustain heart rate level. Circulation increases to promote healthy blood pressure.
