The Hiking Club will meet the fourth Sunday of every month at 8 am. Hikes that are farther away may require an earlier meeting time. Participants may carpool to the trailhead in their own vehicles.

Totally free + anyone can join!

You don’t need to be a member to participate in The Hiking Club! We’re SO excited to offer this to everyone who is a part of the Flow Motion community. Our hiking club is headed up by a member of our Energy Exchange Program, an invested group of students who are helping grow and enrich our community! Please note: The Hiking Club participants must be over 18. You are responsible for considering your fitness and ability level before participating in each selected hike.

Discover ADVENTURE in your own backyard!

In The Hiking Club, you’ll be led on local trails, toward Mt. Baker & the Chuckanuts, through local forests and sanctuaries featuring beautiful views and wildlife. It’s the perfect way to connect with fellow students and have some fun in the great outdoors!

When you’re here, make sure to check out all our studio amenities! Set aside a day for recovery following your hiking adventure with our studio Day Pass. About Sarah Bibbey

Sarah is an eclectic 23 year old with a passion for life. New to Whatcom County, Sarah has lived in Colorado, Ghana, and Costa Rica. Having found community and growth in yoga while in Costa Rica, Sarah is now a part of the Energy Exchange program at Flow Motion. In her free time, Sarah loves exploring. This is where The Hiking Club comes in! Sarah is so excited to lead the monthly adventures with the Flow Motion community. She has certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR, as well as experience leading group hikes, from her time as a counselor at Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp in Colorado.

Sarah first heard of Flow Motion from the crafting and vending community in Whatcom County, as she serves on the board for a Ghana-based non-profit called MFC Tie-Dye, and brought the products to one of Flow Motion’s events. Sarah works at Northwest Youth Services, an organization committed to investing in vulnerable youth. She invests her time in people who are making the world a better place. Working with the Flow Motion Hiking Club will be an opportunity for her to build community with like-minded people!
